What is included in the online learning platform?

The course consists of 20 modules. Each module is comprised of several video chapters and a quiz. You are required to pass all of the quizzes to complete the course.

How do I register for the Fundamentals of Alternatives course?

  • Create an account at IMCA.org, or log into your MyIMCA account.
  • Pay your fee for the course in the store–allow two (2) business days to be placed in eCampus or assigned the course.

How do I access the online learning platform once I've registered?

You will receive an e-mail from [email protected]rg within two (2) business days, to confirm that your registration has been activated. This confirmation will include login information necessary for you to access the program materials online.

What are the requirements to complete this course?

In order to complete the course and earn continuing education (CE) credits, you will need to score a 70% or better on each section quiz. There is a separate quiz for each of the twenty (20) content modules. Each module should take you approximately one hour to complete.

What are the requirements to earn continuing education (CE) credits?

You will need to complete all modules by passing each section quiz (with a 70% or better) in order to complete the course and earn 20 hours of IMCA approved continuing education (CE) credits. Please note that no partial credit (CE hours) will be given for passing individual quizzes. In order to earn any CE credits, you must complete the entire course. Once complete, your 20 continuing education (CE) credits will be submitted to IMCA's certification department on your behalf.

How long do I have access to the online learning platform?

Once enrolled in this online course you will have access to the program website for 11 months from the date of your registration.

Is there a cancellation policy?

No refunds are available once registration has been processed. Participation is not transferable between individuals.
