Thomas J. Boczar is chief executive officer and managing partner, Intelligent Edge Advisors LLC. Prior to joining Intelligent Edge, Mr. Boczar served as director of marketing, Twenty-First Securities Corporation, where he was responsible for selling innovative arbitrage, risk management, and hedged investment strategies to professional investors. He began his career in the financial services industry as a broker with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., and then Bear Stearns. He also worked as a tax accountant with Touche Ross. After completing law school, he specialized in public and corporate finance with Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon and then at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. A frequent speaker at financial conferences and author of several articles on stock concentration risk management and other applications of financial instruments, he won IMCA's 2004 Stephen J. Kessler Writing Award, serves as chairman of the Private Wealth Management Committee of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and is a member of IMCA’s Wealth Management Committee, as well as an instructor in the Wealth Management Certificate Program (of which he is an alumnus). He earned a J.D., University of Miami School of Law, an MBA and a M.P.A., School of Business Administration, University of Miami, and completed post graduate work in financial engineering. He is currently pursuing an LL.M in taxation at the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the bar in New York and Connecticut.
