Ron Galloway
Researcher and Filmmaker

Ron Galloway, researcher and filmmaker, studies the disruptive effects of new technologies in finance.  Mr. Galloway served as a research analyst for Smith Barney from 1985—1995, before founding Method Research, an institutional research firm.  The author of Ambient Intelligence, a study of the integration of sensors and data mining, he has presented his research globally.  Galloway directed the business documentary, “‘Why Walmart Works,” the first film to ever premiere in the U.S. Capitol building and his film, “Age Invaders,” will be released in March 2017 on Netflix and Amazon Video.  He has been featured on CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, BBC, ABC’s “World News Tonight,” as well as in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and The New Yorker.  He earned a B.S. in industrial management, Georgia Institute of Technology.
