Dale Yahnke, founding partner, Dowling & Yahnke, is an independent, fee-only registered investment adviser. Mr. Yahnke’s firm currently manages $3 billion for more than 1,000 clients (primarily individuals, families, endowments and foundations). Previously, he worked as a financial analyst with the law firm of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now known as DLA Piper US LLP), and has served as an expert witness in investment and securities related matters. He has been featured in numerous financial publications including Barron’s, Worth, and The Wall Street Journal. In 2016, he was recognized for the tenth consecutive year by Barron’s as one of its “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors” in the country. He was also named to the Barron’s 2015 Top Advisor Rankings: California (second consecutive year). Yahnke holds the designations Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner. He earned a B.S. in economics, Claremont McKenna College, and an M.B.A in finance, San Diego State University.
